Held alongside the AU-EU Summit in Luanda, Angola, this flagship event brings together high-level leaders from government, business and finance to forge future-looking partnerships, and drive shared prosperity across both continents.Backed by the €150 billion Global Gateway Africa-Europe Investment Package, and aligned with the AU’s Agenda 2063, the EU is committed to connecting capital with opportunity in Africa’s most promising sectors – green energy, health, transport, agriculture and digital. Shaping the framework of EU-Africa business relations At AEBF2025, meaningful dialogue unlocks pathways to mobilising capital, and bold ideas become bankable projects Day 1 of the Forum kicks off with a high-level plenary and a discussion on Africa’s exciting investment landscape, including innovative ways to tackle the single biggest issue – access to finance. Four thematic panels follow with a deep dive into de-risking instruments, co-investment opportunities, and pragmatic approaches on how to drive action in shared priority sectors.
