Bridge Readers for SLCN & Dyslexia

Cathy Farr is a writer.  Following the release of her second fantasy adventure, Moon Crossing, Cathy was invited to an SLCN Unit in her local school.  She quickly realised that the language in the story was too complex for her young audience and so, on the hoof, she 'translated' it into something they not only understood, but loved it!

Following that visit, Cathy has re-written both of her original novels, working with Afasic Cymru to make sure they were absolutley right for SLCN readers.  She has also produced Teacher's Workbooks to accompany the novels, to help with reading, writing and comprehension.
