STRAILastic’s core aim is to provide premium quality rail noise attenuation and vibration products, as well as light rail track systems. Since establishing the business in 1947, STRAILastic has become a world leader in the design, manufacturing and understanding of the benefits of vulcanised rubber products due to its flexibility in design, durability, and ease of installation and reduced maintenance costs.
The basic component for our rubber product range comprises 70% recycled secondary raw materials where the hot vulcanisation production process permanently bonds the surface of virgin rubber with the recycled rubber and mineral compound. This results in precisely moulded, electrically isolated, durable, wear-resistant, fire and UV ozone resistant elements.
Furthermore the products can be fully recycled at the end of their service life and repurposed. This has allowed STRAILastic to attain certification for our energy and environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 and DIN EN ISO 14001.
