STRAILastic_mSW is a mini sound protection wall 390 mm high attached to the sleeper ends which gets closer to the source of noise than any other existing sound barrier and is just outside the kinematic envelope. The STRAILastic_mSW has the ability to reduce airborne wheel rail noise by 4 dBA. There are two forms of sleeper attachment. One where the wall is unclipped to undertake tamping or another where an extended steel clamp beyond the tamping heads is installed. Furthermore the products can be fully recycled at the end of their service life and repurposed. This has allowed STRAILastic to attain certification for our energy and environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 and DIN EN ISO 14001.
