Air Liquide is a world leader in gases, technologies, and services for industry and health care. It presents in 80 countries with approximately 67,000 employees. The group has developed technologies and expertise that spans the entire biomethane value chain, including biogas upgrading, injection into the gas grid, distribution of bio-CNG or bio-LNG to the NGV users, and production of the decarbonized hydrogen from biomethane.
To date, Air Liquide has 19 biomethane production units and designed and installed around 100 biogas purification units worldwide and operates nearly 80 bio-NGV (Natural Gas for Vehicle) fueling stations in Europe, including 11 in the United Kingdom.
