PISUERGA TINTO

Information

Aged 10 months in barrel and demi john. Speaking of the Pisuerga—it boasts a river beach and, since 1865, there has been a suspension bridge over its waters, interestingly, the bridge isn’t suspended, making this wine a true creation against the current. This red wine combines Tempranillo with a touch of Verdejo, embodying the meaning of the saying: “The fame may rest on the Duero, but the flow goes with the Pisuerga”. Artisan wine for ageing, keeping the varietal characteristics of the vineyard plots it comes from. Plots selected among the vineyards in the province of Valladolid—Pago La Virgen (Medina del Campo) and Pago Valdelaino (La Seca). Manual harvest with double selection in field and winery. 11-month ageing in demijohn and 500L used barrels. 2651 bottles are produced.
