CUATRO RAYAS
Information
Bodega Cuatro Rayas was founded in 1935 in the province of Valladolid, Spain, as a way for local winemakers to maximise the profits obtained from winemaking by uniting the work of the people of this community. This spirit of collaboration, combined with the legacy of three generations of families passionate about wine, vineyards, and the Verdejo grape variety, continues 90 years later to give meaning and identity to a benchmark cooperative winery in the production of high-quality white wines under the Designation of Origin Rueda.
The winery produces wines which are distributed in over 60 countries. This allows consumers in places as diverse as the United States, Mexico, China, Japan, Australia or Colombia—along with those across Spain and the European Union—to enjoy the exceptional fruits of the labour of nearly 300 families of cooperative winegrowers who safeguard a unique heritage.
Bodega Cuatro Rayas produces a broad and diverse variety of wines with excellence in mind, including a collection of micro-vinifications designed to enhance and reinvent the Verdejo variety by harnessing its versatility and ageing potential. Similarly, Bodega Cuatro Rayas embraces innovation by offering its consumers other new products such as alcohol-free wines, frizzante, winery vermouths, or grape lager beer, adapting to evolving market trends.
