Dorado Amargo Suave follows the style of the very first vermouths that were made. The base wine is Macabeo which has a good structure and thus allows comfortably ageing or “resting” which in this case is around 10 months in semi-new chestnut. Macabeo is also a very neutral grape so it doesn’t interfere with the action of the exceptionally bitter herbs we have chosen. This amber vermouth offers a blend of aromas of wild and dry woodland herbs with a subtle mineral note. It is balsamic, refreshing and elegant with perfectly-balanced bitter-sweet sensations.
