Information

Printed electronics is fundamentally limited by its reliance on inks — complex, expensive, and proprietary formulations that are difficult to standardize, reproduce, and qualify. Ink compositions often change, vary across suppliers, or become unavailable, creating major challenges for process stability, certification, and long-term manufacturing. In this talk, we introduce NanoPrintek’s inkless, dry-additive nanomanufacturing platform, which eliminates the need for inks entirely. Instead, nanoparticles are generated on demand from pure solid materials, transported in a controlled gas flow, and directly deposited and laser-sintered in real time, without binders, solvents, or post-processing. By shifting from chemistry-based formulations to a physics-driven process, the technology enables the use of stable, well-defined raw materials, allowing true standardization, reproducibility, and supply-chain independence. The platform supports multimaterial printing with digital control over composition and structure, and integrates AI-driven closed-loop optimization for consistent performance. This approach represents a paradigm shift toward AI-enabled, deterministic, and qualification-ready manufacturing for next-generation electronics.
