PROFACTOR is an Austrian research and technology company specializing in industrial automation systems and additive micro- and nano-manufacturing. Together with international partners from research and industry, we develop new processes and technologies that form the basis of our industrial solutions. In micro- and nano-manufacturing, we specialize in nanoimprint lithography (NIL) and multi-material inkjet printing. Our work addresses topics in photonics, plasmonics, and applications in printed electronics.
The NIL Department specializes in photonics and plasmonics. Our focus lies on basic process development, structuring and replication using Step-and-Repeat (S&R) nanoimprint lithography, as well as small-series fabrication of photonic and plasmonic components. This also includes the development and procurement of S&R equipment.
The Printed Electronics Department specializes in digital and additive manufacturing processes for electronic structures such as sensors and antennas.
Inkjet technology allows the production of three-dimensional electrical structures and enables printing on large and flexible substrates.

• Development of customized printing processes
Small-series production of electronic systems and sensors
