NIHR BioResource
Information
The NIHR BioResource is a recallable resource of more than 250,000 individuals, some with common and rare diseases and some with none at all. We have been developed by researchers, for researchers. Our mission is to facilitate human health research and its transformation into medical practise by bringing willing members of the public and leading researchers together.
We offer a better route to discovery: Refine by phenotype, refine by genotype, refine your search. We streamline the bench to bedside process with a single consent, single database, and single repository.
Our volunteers are at the heart of our work to understand the links between genes, the environment, health and disease. Everyone who participates contributes to the search for better diagnosis and treatment into a range of common and rare diseases.
