Most Wanted: Music 2026

Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) is Berlin's leading festival for music economies and cultures. It brings together artists, innovators, industry professionals and decision-makers to shape the future of music. Organised by the Berlin Music Commission on behalf of the Senate Department for Economics, MW:M stands for three things: music as passion, business as catalyst and sustainability as ethos.

This year's theme: REWIRE!

The music industry is redesigning itself in real time. MW:M26 explores new pathways across music, technology, culture and community, and asks how the industry can be rebuilt to work better for creators, businesses and audiences alike.

Convention (3–5 November, nhow Hotel Berlin)

The heart of MW:M is a three-day programme of keynotes, interviews, debates, workshops and matchmaking on the most relevant topics in music, tech and the creative industries. Expect interactive formats, experimental networking and live performances, with practical knowledge you can take straight back to your work. The convention includes several dedicated formats:

• MW:M Research: an academic track exploring the evolution of music
• Hybrid Music Lab: a space for experimental performances and new technologies
• MW:M Artist Academy: a two-day professional development programme for artists
• MW:M Satellites: a bus tour and special events hosted by partners across Berlin

Club Festival (4–5 November, RAW-Gelände)

In the evenings, the MW:M Club Festival presents emerging and established acts as the official showcase programme. Performances take place at Cassiopeia, Badehaus and House of Music.

LISTEN TO BERLIN

In cooperation with MW:M26, LISTEN TO BERLIN presents the LISTEN TO BERLIN: AWARDS on the evening of 3 November at Kesselhaus. It also presents LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH on 4 November, which supports the next generation of music makers and creative talent.
