The BCCM/GeneCorner Plasmid Collection accepts plasmids from and distributes plasmids to researchers worldwide. Funding by the Belgian Science Policy (Belspo) allowed BCCM/GeneCorner to evolve into a unique plasmid repository in Europe. Patent deposits: The BCCM collections are recognised as an IDA by the World Intellectual Property Organisation. We stand ready to help you comply with all laws and regulations regarding patent applications involving biological materials. Next to a public collection, all BCCM collections provide private storage as a service. Be it as a quality-controlled safe deposit, or simply as a renting of cryostorage room. Strain analysis: The BCCM collections provide a range of service analyses related to identification, characterisation and isolation of all microbial resources. Training: The BCCM collections offer both theoretical and hands-on training in laboratory techniques, management of a culture collection and legal aspects (Nagoya protocol, Budapest Treaty,...)
