Project Pitch

Primarily targeted Rare Earth Elements (REE) occur in unusually high-grade magmatic bands of REE-carbonatite, locally named “pink ore”, which contain between 18 and 22% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO). The main REE mineral is called bastnaesite which is regarded as the metallurgically most easy REE mineral for downstream processing. The Ondoto deposit contains about 14% Neodymium and Praseodymium (NdPr) in its REE basket. NdPr is the main component in rare earth–iron–boron magnets used in electric vehicles.
