The project aims to establish a Hibiscus products processing and agro-industrial facility in Windhoek, Namibia to produce Mutete Hibiscus juice, Hibiscus tea, and Jam for domestic and regional markets. The project will integrate contract farming with smallholder farmers, improve agricultural value chains by establishing a Hibiscus value chain in Namibia & SADC, and reduce Namibia’s reliance on imported processed food products. The facility will process up to 200 tons of dried Hibiscus flowers (calyces) annually and supply retail and wholesale markets across Southern Africa.
