PyroNam’s pyrolysis projects are deployed in partnership with Namibian farmers, communities, and landowners to convert encroaching bush into high-value biochar and bio-oil.
- Biochar Carbon Removal and Agriculture: Applied to soil, biochar permanently stores carbon and generates high-quality removal credits with international demand while improving soil health and fertility.
- Biochar for Industrial Decarbonization: Supplied to steel and metallurgy companies as a renewable carbon reductant, displacing fossil coal and coke.
- Bio-Oil as a Co-Product: Recovered condensates from both streams serve as feedstock for agriculture products like wood vinegar or industrial refining.
