Project Pitch

Linkpharm is scaling its pharmaceutical procurement platform to address persistent medicine shortages and inefficiencies in Ethiopia’s healthcare supply chain. Operating primarily on a B2B model, the platform connects hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and suppliers through real-time inventory visibility, streamlined ordering, and competitive procurement mechanisms.

By digitizing procurement workflows, Linkpharm reduces costs, shortens lead times, and enhances transparency across transactions. The platform supports informed purchasing decisions, improves stock availability, and strengthens trust between buyers and suppliers.

The project focuses on expanding platform functionality, onboarding additional healthcare providers and suppliers, and strengthening nationwide coverage. By doing so, Linkpharm aims to become a critical digital backbone for Ethiopia’s healthcare system, improving access to essential medicines while supporting a more resilient and efficient pharmaceutical market.
