Energy and Mines Australia Summit

The mining sector’s transition to a low-carbon future is accelerating at an extraordinary pace and Australia has become a global center of mining energy and mobility decarbonisation. Having set ambitious carbon reduction targets, miners are now focused on setting plans to drive down emissions from stationary power and mine fleets with renewables, storage, electrification, trolley assist and hydrogen solutions. The transition to 100% renewable energy mining and zero-emissions fleets is underway but, with some technologies still being commercialized, the roadmap is not yet clear.

The Energy and Mines Australia Summit, September 6-7 will provide a necessary gathering for mines to showcase projects and learn about additional technologies and strategies to deliver on GHG reduction plans while maintaining mine economic and production targets. Now in its 6th year, the Summit will also explore what additional processes, investments, technologies and skill sets are needed to reach zero-emissions mining.
