Welcome to the EABF Knowledge and Training Hub, a dedicated space for collaboration, learning, and engagement among private sector stakeholders involved in EU-Africa economic relations. As part of the EABF Platform, which connects businesses, policymakers, and investors to facilitate sustainable trade and investment between the two continents, the Hub serves as a central resource for knowledge sharing and capacity building.
The Hub is designed to support European and African business stakeholders - including businesses, business support organizations (BSOs), by providing access to key training materials, along with opportunities to participate in webinars, workshops, and networking sessions. 📒 COURSE: The International Trade Centre (ITC) SME Trade Academy
The International Trade Centre (ITC) SME Trade Academy offers free online courses to enhance expertise in international trade, including in trade flow analysis and international market access requirements. Participants are expected to spend approximately four hours over two weeks to complete a course:
✅ How to Analyse Trade Flows (Trade Map) [courses in May, August and November 2025] – Discover trade flow fundamentals and how to interpret ITC’s Trade Map’s key indicators for better, data-driven decisions.
✅ How to Access International Markets (Market Access Map) [courses in May, August and November 2025] – Understand tariffs, non-tariff measures, rules of origin and use ITC’s Market Access Map to analyse and compare market requirements for 200+ countries.

The International Trade Centre (ITC) collaborates with the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Partnerships (INTPA) to support sustainable trade, economic development, and private sector growth in developing countries. Their partnership emphasizes capacity-building, trade facilitation, and fostering inclusive and green trade opportunities. A key focus is strengthening SMEs, enhancing market access, and improving value chain development, including in Africa.

📒 COURSE: Training of Trainers session on the Circular Economy
An online Training of Trainers session on the Circular Economy, organised under the EU-Africa Business Forum Facility framework and funded by the European Union. This session is designed specifically for business support organizations, including Chambers of Commerce, sectoral associations, business federations to strengthen their capacity to deliver impactful awareness training to their members and partners (other BSOs and companies). The training is structured in three parts:
- Two self-paced online sessions
 - One live webinar in English scheduled for Wednesday, 1 October 2025, from 11:00 to 13:00 CET
 
This training is funded by the European Union through the EU–Africa Business Forum Facility, with additional support provided by the SWITCH to Green Facility.

📒 COURSE: Training for BSOs on Clean Energy Investment in Sub-Saharan Africa - Training course in French
Formation pour les Structures d'Appui aux Entreprises sur l’investissement dans les énergies propres en Afrique subsaharienne.
Cette série de webinaires, animée par les experts de GET.invest, est conçue pour les organisations de soutien aux entreprises souhaitant renforcer leur rôle dans la promotion des énergies propres. À travers des présentations ciblées, des exemples concrets et des échanges interactifs, le programme offre aux participants les outils et les méthodes nécessaires pour:
