Event Description

Registration is open for the Carbon Capture Coalition’s 2026 Innovation and Policy Forum (formerly the Annual Meeting). This one-day event brings together Coalition members and key experts in carbon management policy and project deployment.  

The 2026 Forum will take place in person on October 20, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois, with an optional site tour at ADM Decatur's Carbon Capture & Storage Facility on October 21 (overnight accommodations in Decatur on October 20 required).

Why attend?  

• Engage in insightful discussions on carbon management technology and policy needs, and learn from stakeholders, including companies, policy makers, and regulators advancing these technologies

• Engage in discussions with leaders across the ecosystem about conditions to accelerate deployment

Who is encouraged to attend?  

Coalition members, supporters, and others engaged in carbon management technology or policy are encouraged to attend. The event is also open to those interested in learning more about the Carbon Capture Coalition.

• Welcome Reception: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., October 19
• Innovation & Policy Forum: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., October 20, 2026
• Venue: Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown
• Optional site tour: October 21, ADM Decatur Carbon Capture & Storage Facility (overnight accommodations in Decatur on October 20 required).
