America is leading the world in deploying DAC and Heirloom is leading America in that effort by rapidly scaling our technology around the country. We’re building two Direct Air Capture (DAC) facilities in Northwestern Louisiana with a combined yearly CO₂ capture capacity of nearly 320,000 tons. This landmark investment in the state is powering the Gulf Coast's leadership in a new energy economy and further cementing America as a leader in deploying DAC technologies.
This builds on Heirloom’s leadership role in establishing America’s first commercial DAC facility in the Central Valley of California. This facility is actively removing CO₂ from the atmosphere, fulfilling customer carbon removal purchases.
