
Carbon Capture Coalition 2025 Annual Meeting
Event Description
Registration is open for the Carbon Capture Coalition’s 2025 Annual Meeting. This one-day event brings together Coalition members and key experts in carbon management policy and project deployment.
The 2025 Annual meeting will take place in person on November 6, 2025, in Lafayette, California (roughly a 25-minute drive from San Francisco), with an optional site tour for Coalition members at Calpine’s nearby Los Medanos Demonstration Center on November 5.

Why attend?
California is a key state for carbon management deployment, and carbon capture and removal are key aspects of the state’s aggressive emissions reduction targets. Subsequently, the Golden State is home to 21 announced projects and 4 approved Class VI wells. Additionally, the Bay Area is an epicenter for carbon management technology and startups, with universities and Silicon Valley as a major hub for innovation. Coalition members and guests will have the chance to engage in insightful discussions around carbon management technology and policy needs and learn from those on the leading edge of the technology in the Bay Area.
This one-day meeting is an opportunity to connect with Coalition members across our diverse membership, which spans companies, non-profits, and labor unions, learn more about our important work over the past year, and help shape the Coalition's future. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to engage with experts, gain insights, and contribute to Coalition dialogue around developing supportive policies for carbon management deployment.
Who is encouraged to attend?
Coalition members and supporters are encouraged to attend, and those engaged in carbon management technology or policy and wanting to learn more about the Carbon Capture Coalition is welcome to attend.
