FAQ

  • Account access for the ATD Intensive Virtual Platform?

An account will be automatically created for every ATD Intensive: AI registrant beginning September 22, 2026. New registrants are added every 48 hours.

You’re welcome to browse the program at any time. However, you won't be able to build a "My Schedule" until you’re registered.

  • Accessing & Updating Your Profile

You control your visibility in the ATD Intensive Virtual Platform (Swapcard). Your basic profile helps others recognize you, your contact details stay private unless you accept a connection, or book a meeting, and messages are always private. Visibility settings can be updated anytime.

Click on your user icon in the upper-right corner to access:

    • My Profile

    • My Contacts

    • My Schedule

    • My Bookmarks

My Profile: Your "Profile" contains your attendee information. You can add a photo, bio, social media links, and contact details. Your contact information is not visible in your attendee profile.

You cannot edit your name or email in your profile as this is pulled directly from your registration and contains your access details.

Speaker profiles will also include all sessions in which they are speaking.

My Contacts: Your "My Contacts" contains a list of the people you accepted a connection requests from. Once you have accepted a connection, you will be able to view their contact information, and they can now view yours.

You can export your contacts to follow up with them after the event.

My Schedule: Your "My Schedule" shows the sessions you have added to your personal schedule.

You can connect your schedule to your Google Calendar, export it to your calendar, or download a PDF. Please keep in mind that if you download a PDF, this is for information purposes and subject to change.

We recommend using the virtual platform or mobile app for the most-up-to-date information.

My Bookmarks: Your "Bookmarks" lets you save exhibitors or other items you want to come back to later.

  • Navigate the Platform

What time zone is used for the sessions? By default, the system follows your device’s time zone. But you can switch to your event’s time zone on the event home page, in the event description area.

Where can I view my sessions, and bookmarked companies? Click on the arrow next to your profile and then “My Bookmarks.” A new page will open with a list of your saved and bookmarked items. Select “My Schedule” allows you to see your own schedule.

Where do I go to send a connection request? Navigate to the user’s profile and use the “Send a Connection Request” box on the right-hand side of the page.

Where can I view all of my messages? You can view all of your messages under the “messages” icon at the top of the web app page.

Where can I view all the notifications? You can view your notifications under the “notifications bell” icon.

How do I add a bio to my profile? To add a bio, go to the “My Profile” tab and then select “Edit” in the “Bio” box. Describe yourself in a few words, then go back to save.

How do I add a photo to my profile? To add a profile photo, go to the “My Profile” tab and then select the box with your name, then choose “Edit” in the box with your empty profile picture. You will arrive on the next page, and by selecting the empty circle in your profile photo, you can choose a photo and crop it. Once the photo has been cropped, you can validate it by selecting the ✓ at the top right of your screen. You can also take a photo while editing by selecting “Camera.”

  • How do I join Zoom?

You will find the Zoom link on each individual detail page under the sessions information section. Simply click on the "Join Zoom Meeting" link to open the Zoom.

A waiting room is enabled for each session and we'll open the Zoom Meeting room 2-3 minutes before the session is set to begin.

  • Mobile App (Swapcard)

The ATD Conferences & Events mobile app is available in your device’s app store. The event app will launch in October, and the agenda you create in the Session Scheduler will transfer to the app when it launches.

    Technical Tips

    • Access the site from another browser (this bypasses any browser settings that may be blocking access). If you are on a PC, you should have access to Edge; on a Mac, it will be Safari.

    • Open an Incognito window and try to access the content this way (this gets around any cached or bad data that could be held in the browser).

    • Try on a different device (mobile or tablet, if you are viewing on a desktop).

  • Session and Speaker Evaluations

The evaluation site will open in October.

You will complete a survey for each session you attend.

Once you have submitted a session evaluation for each session you attended, you will be able to print a transcript and certificate of attendance.

  • Swapcard Virtual Platform Support

Visit help-attendees.swapcard.com/en/ for frequently asked questions or through your “profile page” by clicking the up arrow near your profile icon/photo and then selecting “Contact app support.”

Contact Swapcard Platform Support by email to support@swapcard.com.

  • Technical Tips

For the best user experience, please use or have:

    • A device that is connected to the internet, either by ethernet or WiFi (preferably a computer; tablets and mobile devices can be used if necessary).
    • A stable internet connection (check your internet speed by clicking here; some slower speeds will result in slower loading times for our web pages).
    • A platform-supported web browser. We strongly suggest using Google Chrome when navigating the virtual conference. Download Google Chrome here if you do not already have this web browser on your device. The platform works best with Chrome or Firefox. Internet Explorer is not a supported browser. If you are experiencing blank pages or streaming issues, please switch to one of these two browsers if you have been working on another browser.
    • Zoom downloaded to your device. Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of Zoom. Download Zoom here if you do not already have this program on your device.

After logging in for the first time and completing the set-up of your account, go back to the home page to bookmark this page. This will make it easier for you to sign in and access your account throughout the conference.

    Other Tips:

Access the site from another browser, update your website settings to allow pop-ups.

Please add the below email addresses to your ‘approved whitelist/save sender’s list to ensure you receive all of your virtual conference emails: atd-2026@swapcardmail.swpcd-send.com and virtualconference@td.org.

Should the video player become unavailable while viewing a session, please refresh your browser. If the video remains unavailable after a page refresh, it is most likely a security setting on your browser, device, or network that blocks access to the content server. We would recommend trying the following:

    • Access the site from another browser (this bypasses any browser settings that may be blocking access). If you are on a PC, you should have access to Edge; on a Mac, it will be Safari.
    • Open an Incognito window and try to access the content this way (this gets around any cached or bad data that could be held in the browser).
    • Try on a different device (mobile or tablet, if you are viewing on a desktop).
