The Procurement and Contract Services Division is responsible for procurement of material, equipment, supplies, construction and services required by Pierce County. This division assures that purchases are acquired legally from responsible providers at the lowest possible costs.
All Requests for Proposals and Invitations to Bid are advertised in the County's legal newspaper, currently The Tacoma News Tribune.
This division is also responsible for Fleet Services and General Services.
