Information
For over 30 years, Alliance has been one of the largest business-to-government events in the Northwest, featuring subject matter experts and opportunities to connect buyers and sellers in the public marketplace. The 2021 event will be held virtually while still offering an opportunity for agencies and primes to connect with qualified small and diverse businesses as well as well as each other.
Attendees includes businesses interested in the government marketplace, with historic attendance of over 1,000 people. Attendees represent a who’s-who of the government contracting world: Federal and state government agency representatives, prime contractors, small businesses, and government contracting experts.
Alliance Northwest is coordinated by the Thurston Economic Development Council, in partnership with Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), federal agencies and prime contractors to provide businesses opportunities to connect with government buyers and prime contractors.
Greater Pierce County Purchasing Forum in partnership with Alliance Northwest
Since 2009, the Greater Pierce County Purchasing Forum has offered businesses the opportunity to learn how to compete for contracts with local, state, and federal governments. In 2022, Alliance Northwest is partnering with Pierce County and the City of Lakewood to bring the Forum back after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
What can you expect as a previous attendee of the Greater Pierce County Purchasing Forum?
While larger-scale in-person events are on hold for now, this year’s virtual event will offer Pierce County firms the same local connections and Pierce County specific content they have valued to create new revenue streams by working with government. PLUS, you’ll have access to even more connections, and live and recorded content on the expansive Alliance Northwest Agenda for an entire year.
