AI Technology Mapping Workshop

This workshop, hosted by Fusion for Energy, will be the founding event to create a European community for the application of Artificial Intelligence in fusion.

The scope will cover the application of Artificial Intelligence in design and simulation, material development, manufacturing, non-destructive testing (NDT) and assembly, and plasma science and control.

The main objectives of this workshop are to:

• Identify possible AI applications,

• Facilitate the exchange of knowledge,

• Foster collaboration and partnerships.

The workshop will consist of two sessions:

• An online kick-off meeting on April 8, 2025 (full day).

• An in-person meeting in Barcelona: May 26 (afternoon) & May 27 (full day), 2025 (1.5 days).

Attendees of the in-person meeting in Barcelona have the option to join a dinner on May 26th for networking opportunities. Kindly note that we will arrange the restaurant reservation, but participants will be responsible for their own expenses.
