From September 15–18, the 7th annual Game Devs of Color Expo is an annual event that uplifts and amplifies work by creators of color in the games industry. Join us for an online multi-day celebration of diverse voices. You’ll connect with creators from around the world and learn how to build and market games players love.

As an attendee, you’ll get to network with potential collaborators, recruiters, and publishers during our networking day on Thursday, September 15. Over the three days that follow, you’ll hear talks, panels, and interviews about game development starring awesome creators of color.

What to expect

#GDoCExpo 2022 is a multi-day festival that includes:

• A world-class conference of talks, panels, Dev Interviews, and networking sessions (9/15–9/18).
• Gradient Convergence, our Steam event for getting your hands on some of the hottest games and demos by creators of colors, featuring discounts and broadcasts from the developers themselves (9/15–9/19).
• The GDoCExpo Direct, the latest exclusive news about upcoming games, directly from the developers to you (9/15).
• The GDoCExpo Party, an online gathering in our own virtual space (9/17).
• Celebrating and awarding game development grants to creators with incredible potential (9/18).

Once you've purchased your ticket from our website or Eventbrite, you'll be able to access all of our online event space. Check out the schedule for the exact timing of anything you'd like to attend. Bookmark what you'd like to watch and find your saved sessions in the My Event tab. See who's highlighted this year by visiting the Games and Speakers tabs.

Networking is an important part of working in games. We invite you to check out the Attendees list as well as our Exhibiting Sponsors and connect with anyone you'd like to know.
