EU-Ethiopia Business Forum

When: Monday 20 April 2026, 08:00 - Tuesday 21 April 2026, 18:00 (EAT) Where: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia The EU–Ethiopia Business Forum (EEBF) will spotlight Ethiopia’s economic opportunities and demonstrate how the European Union and its Member States can strengthen their partnership with the country under the Global Gateway strategy. With a population of 130 million and one of Africa’s fastest-growing economies, Ethiopia offers significant potential in sectors such as agribusiness, clean energy, health, and digital transformation. EU–Ethiopia trade relations are at their strongest since 2021, and around 300 European companies are already active in the country.
