Ghana - June 2019

The Ghana-EU Business Forum was held on the 13th and 14th of June 2019 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra. The forum was aimed primarily at increasing the awareness of the EU External Investment Plan and in particular its innovative financing instruments in Ghana, promoting partnerships between International Financial Institutions with potential beneficiaries to promote business opportunities between Ghana and the EU. It offered the opportunity to interact with representatives of International and Local Financial Institutions, Business Associations and Regulators and to identify new business and financing opportunities. The Forum was enriched by the presence of European and Ghanaian exhibitors and Chambers of Commerce, which showcased their business. It was graced by the presence of the Vice-President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice-President of the European Commission, Jyrki Katainen, Minister of Finance Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta and EU Ambassador to Ghana H.E Diana Acconcia.
