Nigeria - July 2024

The 9th EU-Nigeria Business Forum "Enduring Partnership, New Opportunities" took place in July 2024 in Abuja, Nigeria. The EU-Nigeria Business Forum is an annual event, which provides a platform for robust engagement among policymakers and private sector operators from Nigeria and Europe. Following the conclusion of the 2023 elections and the swearing in of the new administration, the 9th Edition of the event was put together to chart a course on how to enhance the robust economic relationship between Nigeria and Europe. Consequently, for the first time since inception, the 2024 edition of the EU-Nigeria Business Forum was held in Abuja. This provided an opportunity for the EU, its Member States and private sector from Europe and Nigeria to engage the new administration on issues of common interest.
