Mirai Circus Network (MiCiNet), a Japanese contemporary circus network, launched in 2024!

In recent years, 'contemporary circus' has grown remarkably as a performing art in Japan. This year, five producers of contemporary circus in Japan published the Handbook of Contemporary Circus in Japan, funded by the Saison Foundation. The members, who have been involved in the development of contemporary circus in Japan for many years, will set up a Japanese contemporary circus network, the Mirai Circus Network, in 2024. In their presentation, they will present the goals, objectives and content of this new network.
