Details

Description
A romantic drama set in contemporary Japan, adapting the story of three men and women's growth and parting depicted in Shakespeare's "Sonnets." The play unfolds against the backdrop of a live piano trio performance. Drawing inspiration from Oscar Wilde and Kenichi Yoshida, the Japanese translator of the "Sonnets," and based on translation and critical theories related to time and poetry, the performance explores the intersections of poetry and drama, narrative and music, and the realms of past and present. This fusion of music and theater aims to establish a novel relationship in the performing arts.
