The ERINHA laboratories have BSL4 capacity for a large spectrum of in-vivo experiments (e.g. mice, hamsters, ferrets, non-human primates). Additional models may become available in the future. ERINHAERINHA (European Research Infrastructure on Highly Pathogenic Agents) is a distributed non-profit infrastructure dedicated to research on high-consequence pathogens. We gather leading European high-containment facilities and national scientific institutes with longstanding experience in infectious disease research. We provide expertise, training, and access to facilities and additional capacities necessary to conduct broad and ambitious projects on highly pathogenic agents, and work with academic, industry and governmental partners to develop new and innovative medical countermeasures. Our services also include expertise and training on biosecurity, biosafety, laboratory operations and management, among other topics.
