This session, moderated by Christopher Jackson, will convene key stakeholders to explore how the recent adoption of the WHO Integrated Lung Health Resolution can catalyse progress in lung cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship. The session will highlight leadership, innovations, multi-sectoral partnerships and country experiences that are shaping the future of lung cancer.
Session objectives:
- Mobilise political and technical commitment to implement the WHO Lung Health Resolution with a specific focus on lung cancer.
- Promote the integration of the lung cancer care pathway – including prevention, screening and early detection, access to treatment, survivorship, and stigma reduction – within national lung health strategies.
- Showcase country-led strategies and investments that have successfully embedded lung cancer into broader lung health initiatives.
