This huge anaerobic digestion plant was built by Shangdong Bori Biomass Energy Co. Ltd. with a total investment of one billion RMB and a construction area of 56,000 square meter. The purpose of the plant is the production of biogas, bioethanol and organic fertilizer with a yearly gas output of 100,000 tonnes.
Seven units WANGEN KL65S 125.0 progressive cavity pumps feeding a mixture of liquid digestate and chopped straw into several digesters in Dongying City. Capacity per pump is 80m³/h at a differential pressure of 3 bar. This long proven and durable WANGEN pump design is successfully used within thousands of plants all over the world.
According to the plant manager Mr. Li all pumps are running at his full satisfaction: „All pumps have been working for over 3 years operating in excellent condition. Up to now there are no issues and the pumps have been competely maintenance-free. A main advantage of WANGEN is the easy maintanance. The pumps are very service-friendly, inspection and monitoriong of the medium condition is very easy and less time consuming. Furthermore the robust cardon joint and mechnical cartridge sealing are big advantages."
