Mechanical Briquetting Presses

Through briquetting straw gains a high absorption rate – 7-10 times more than normal straw, which makes it easy to introduce the biomass into biogas reactors. No floating covers are formed, even at high dry matter content. A stable and sound biogas process is achieved! The straw briquettes generate a methane yield of up to 300 m3 per ton organic solids, which is equivalent to approx. 250 m3 of methane per ton of straw. The figures are based on thermophilic digestion of 30-40 days. The shown BP6510 Briquetting Press has a capacity of 1,5 tons of briquetted straw per hour.
