Information
Pumping foodwaste from hammer mills, i.e. Haarslev etc, can cause real problems especiallydamage to the pumps from items that have passed through the hammer mill andhave broken the lobes in the pump or the rota and stators.
This is costly not only in spares but in down time and labour time, to repair.
The EMS
VRM270 Ram pump has a proven history in this field and has be used by AD plants
in the UK and Canada. The Ram pump is British made and is manufactured in the
midlands.
In all sites
the down time in twelve months has been very small if any, also the pump will continue to
pump even when the seal around the ram have worn, these seals are adjustable
and have 20mm of adjustability, can be adjusted whilst the pump is running in
total safety.
