The performance and reliability of our chemical adsorption process has been measured and  well documented from more than 40 plants across Europe, many of our plants inject the upgraded gas into the natural gas grid whilst others provide compressed or liquefied Biomethane for vehicle fuelling or virtual pipeline applications.

The PUREGAS process is proven to be considerably more efficient than alternative biogas upgrading technologies, providing a methane recovery from the raw gas of greater than 99.9% The process is designed to utilise both heat and electricity as an energy source, this has been shown to provide the most cost effective OPEX. The cost for operating the PUREGAS process is substantially lower than if the process is run with electrical power as the sole source of energy.
