Event objectives:
- Recognize sex-specific factors influencing cardiovascular disease in women — including differences in epidemiology, clinical presentation, risk profiles, and outcomes that impact diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
- Describe the role of advanced cardiovascular imaging modalities — such as echocardiography, cardiac CT, MRI, and nuclear cardiology — in the early detection, characterization, and risk stratification of cardiovascular diseases in women.
- Apply principles of nuclear cardiology to personalized patient management — understanding how molecular and functional imaging can guide tailored diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to improve cardiovascular outcomes in women.
This event will provide 3 CPD credits in accordance with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists
