Roo-Rée - Louis Chèze

Information

The name Ro-Rée comes from the word for oak in Ardéchois patois. Grown on granite and loess from 25-year-old vines. Louis Chèze established the estate in 1978, buying 1 ha of vines in Saint Joseph and leasing some more. The domaine now sits at 45 ha. Careful berry selection on a vibrating table ensures fruit quality; gentle extraction for elegance and malolactic fermentation in barrel for oak integration. .
