SIMPSONS WINE ESTATESimpsons’ Wine Estate was founded by Ruth and Charles Simpson, who have been making wine at their stunning, southern French winery, Domaine de Sainte Rose, since 2002.
In 2012, attracted by the quality of the terroir and the opportunity to become part of what is one of the most exciting wine producing regions of the world, they brought their expertise and savoir-faire back to the UK, establishing Simpsons’ Wine Estate in Barham, Kent. Now they have 38 hectares of vineyards thriving on the iconic chalk terroir of the North Downs, all situated close to their state-of-the-art winery facility.
Simpsons’ produces a highly-acclaimed range of English still and sparkling wines, which have won awards and trophies at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships and Decanter World Wine Awards, amongst many more.
The Estate welcomes visitors throughout the year for tours, tastings and special events, which culminate in an exhilarating ride down the world’s first winery helter-skelter slide!
