Melnik 55 (Early Melnik vine) is an indigenous red grape from the Melnik region. Hand-picked from own vineyards, the wine is 18 months aged in Bulgarian oak barrels. Full body with dark ruby color and intense aromas of black forest fruit, cherries and plums. A complex wine with long aging potential. Soils: sandy soils with volcanic deposits Climate: trans-Mediterranean climate with hot summers, long, dry autumns and mild winters Altitude: 300m above sea level Vineyards: windy hills with southern and south-western exposure Vinegrowing; Sustainably grown.
