BLOSSOM WINESBlossom Wines, run by Miriam Codina, is the export department from a selection of family boutique wineries in different wine regions from Spain with same philosophy about making wines: family owned, organic, focussed in local grapes and minimum intervention to show up the tipicity of the place. Few of them, highly awarded internationally.
In this event, Blossom Wines will showcase wines from Bodegas Santiago Roma and Marqués de Montecierzo.
The Bodega de Santiago Roma (1997) is located in an old farmhouse that has been completely renovated and equipped to comply with the very highest quality standards, innovating with an approach to agriculture rooted in zero-residue plant protection products. From its site, integrated into the surrounding the 100% Albariño vineyards, one can spot the Salnés Valley (a sub-area of the Rías Baixas D.O.) and the six hectares of landthe winery owns.
Bodega Marqués de Montecierzo is a family-run winery in the Ribera del Ebro subregion of Navarra, Spain. Owned by the Lozano family, the winery crafts artisan and organic wines inside a massive, century-old building that formerly operated as one of Europe's largest flour factories.
