The MDQ Multi-Disc Screw Press is an advanced solution for reliable and economical dewatering of municipal and industrial sludge. Its slow-speed screw and self-cleaning filtration system provide continuous operation with low energy consumption, minimal wash-water demand and limited operator attention.
MDQ technology effectively processes a wide range of sludge types, including waste activated, primary, aerobically and anaerobically digested, mixed, DAF, water treatment, agricultural and high-FOG sludge. Depending on sludge characteristics and operating conditions, the system can achieve dewatered cake solids of 20% DS and higher while maintaining a high solids capture rate.
