Head of Web Component Development (m/f/x) in Munich or Jena

Your role: An empathetic leader with refined interpersonal skills, this position is responsible for growing ZEISS’ new Digital Partners branch. Digital transformation’s learning curve requires patience, understanding and resourceful thinking, and this role is a considered response to that need. Responsibilities include: - Being fully responsible for a team of UX/UI designers, front-end engineers and backend engineers. Establish a common, cross-divisional language that facilitates communication between those with disparate expertise, backgrounds and goals. Recognize opportunities to transform conflict into productive conversation. - Maintaining and extending our Content Management System in an agile setup, and promoting it into all ZEISS business units Supporting the definition of implementation roadmaps and driving the implementation across all ZEISS business units - Maintaining a top-level, holistic understanding of the business in order to strike a balance between engineering, business and design collaborators. A calm mediator, you’re able to inspire, guide and align internal and external stakeholders (e.g., top management, Sales and Marketing) to build a consistent, dynamic user experience for our Web touchpoints. A successful candidate will have:   - Experience (5+ years) leading interdisciplinary teams - A Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience - Deep understanding of web content management based on Adobe Experience Manager (best case: development experience in an Adobe Experience Manager landscape) - Confidence in writing, speaking and presenting in both English and German - Passion for further developing a great team and working in an interdisciplinary, agile environment
