Street Arts Nexus and BANDALOOP present Higher Ground, an unforgettable OFF WAA evening celebrating the transformative power of performance in public space.
From 7:00–8:00 p.m. at Prescott Market, enjoy a free, public showcase featuring Prescott Circus Theatre, Animal Cracker Conspiracy, Sierra Camille, Katrina Ji, and Beatrice Thomas (Black Benatar). From intimate, immersive encounters to outdoor family circus, stilt dancers honoring African traditions, monumental puppetry, and a Queer Arts Cabaret, the evening showcases the extraordinary range and artistic ambition of today’s Street Arts movement.
Beginning at 8:00 p.m. next door at BANDALOOP Studios, the ticketed Higher Ground Queer Arts Cabaret is hosted by Black Benatar and features BANDALOOP, KAMBARA+, Embodiment Project, Ishami Dance Company, and BODYSTORM across dance, drag, music, and vertical performance. Together, these artists transform architecture, neighborhoods, and civic spaces into vibrant stages for connection, wonder, joy, and shared experience.
