Internationally renowned violinist, composer and two-time Grammy Award-winner Mads Tolling – a former member of the Turtle Island Quartet and The Stanley Clarke Band, and member of Bob Weir & Wolf Bros/Wolfpack – Mads performed at over a hundred concerts touring across the US.
The showcase is more than your typical “tribute” program; it’s a curated and thoughtful celebration of music that shaped a generation, a journey to the 1960’s, a time of ground-breaking songwriting, music creation, and innovation that resonates to this day. In a program that is as nostalgic as it is contemporary, the band re-imagines classic songs from 1960s television, film and radio performing selections from Mads Tolling & The Mads Men: Playing the 60s – from “Alley Cat” and “Wichita Lineman” to “Meet the Flintstones” and “All Along the Watchtower”.
