A classic ruby purple robe; its sincere elegance is immediate and involving, with its fragrances of red summer fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry. Touches of violets. On tasting, its aromatic character appears alongside its spicy flavours, between black pepper and dark chocolate. Soft and warm, with a velvety, silky tannin level. Pairings: rich first courses; main courses based on full-flavoured white meat and mild-flavoured red meat; medium-aged cheeses, Montasio, Malga, various types of ham, Sauris ham.
