MASOTTINA
Information
Masottina is the topmost Dal Bianco’s brand, a family which has its roots in the heartland of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore – the area which was declared UNESCO World Heritage site in 2019.
The company was founded in 1946 by Epifanio Dal Bianco, who laid the foundations for the production of great wines.
His eldest son Adriano (who’s Masottina’s winemaker, trained at the School of Viticulture and Oenology, in Conegliano) is currently running the company along with his sons Federico, Filippo and Edoardo, who are carrying on the family business with dedication and tenacity.
Dal Bianco family manages almost three hundred hectares of vineyards, mostly owned, which extend over the hills of Ogliano, the river Piave lands, Gorgo al Monticano and Mogliano Veneto.
The Dal Biancos has taken many years to build all this, an endeavour bear especially by second generation, namely Masottina’s Winemaker Adriano Dal Bianco.
