CONSORZIO TUTELA VINI DELLE VENEZIE DOC PINOT GRIGIO

Delle Venezie appellation is the largest Pinot Grigio area in the world and homeland where 82% of the Italian production of this grapa variety is today concentrated. Pinot grigio delle Venezie DOC Consortium was born in 2017, replacing the pre-existing Typical Geographical Indication (IGT), to create an identity for the Pinot grigio variety and wine, but above all to protect, strengthen and approach international markets in a coordinated way, defining the style of Pinot grigio  and promoting its image throughout the world. In order to do this, at the end  of the entire production chain certification process, each delle Venezie DOC bottle passes through professional oenologists’ tasting commissions and finally receives the Italian Government Seal as maximum expression of a certified quality wine. Plus, thanks to the young DOC delle Venezie, yields per hectare have been reduced to ensure a new level of qualitative excellence in this great Italian wine.
